Princess Project Silicon Valley

The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them. Our 2009- 5 day Dress Giveaway Boutique was a big success. We dressed over 1,000 girls with the help of our 300 wonderful volunteers. With your help, over 3,000 girls will be served in dress giveaways throughout the Bay Area in Spring 2010!

Westfield Valley Fair has put on their tiaras in an effort to collect prom money, dresses and accessories for the Princess Project Silicon Valley, during the month of February. Your donation of a new or gently used prom dress and/or accessory will benefit a high school girl who might not otherwise afford the expense of buying a dress for prom.

Our heartfelt thank you to Westfield, and the Courtside Club & Decathlon Club for serving as community dress drop sites, during the month of February.

• Westfield Valley Fair. Feb. 1-Feb 28. Locations can be found at the Concierge Center, and stores throughout the mall
• Western Athletic Clubs: Courtside and Decathlon Clubs. Feb 1-28th.
• Check with your local high school for dress drives during the month of February.

Participant Eligibility/Requirements

The Princess Project Silicon Valley serves Bay Are high school girls, from Belmont to Gilroy, who cannot otherwise afford a dress for ball or prom. Girls are scheduled to attend a boutique date through their high school or teen organization. Contact your counselor or student activities coordinator. Girls must have a valid high school ID in order to be admitted.
